It is IP66 rated - giving a high level of protection against ingress from weather, water jets and dust, enabling the safe operation of tools when a plug is inserted as there is no danger of exposure to water.

Its cover will stay open to allow easy access to sockets, is durable and see-through allowing the status of switches to be seen. It comes with covers to seal the fixing screws - giving added protection.
