The range of IEC 309 IB sockets are designed for power distribution in the industrial and commercial sector equipped with locking device, enabling the most varied professional requirements of installers to be met.

The socket has a mechanical interlock consisting of a circuit breaker enabling the plug to be connected and disconnected only in the open position, and the switch to close only with the plug inserted. It has been given a protection rating against contact with live parts, damaging deposits of dirt, dust and splashing water.
